Empowering women in Afghanistan
"Ejaad aims to provide the means for a small group of Afghan women to learn to embroider and tailor fashion wear, accessories, and home decor. We at Ejaad aim to support them with a regular income by selling their embroideries. The main goal is to empower our artisans with an opportunity and ultimately with training and a higher education."

Child doctor project
As part of a fund-raising initiative, I’m now working on my "Child Doctor Project" at school, in which I am creating and selling handmade beaded bracelets once a week in front of the cafeteria. This project is designed to support Child Doctor Japan, a Japanese NPO that provides free medical access to children living in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya, through donations and building a bridge between our school community and those children in Kenya :)
